Construction is outperforming the other sectors of the UK economy

The ONS has revealed an increase in construction of 0.4%, compared to only 0.1% of growth in the wider economy. The majority of this increase came in the form of new work for the three months to November 2024. Growth in the economy as a whole was flat in the same period.
