UK GDP flatlined in July with no growth recorded. However, construction managed a 0.3% increase in new work, as repair and maintenance output stood still.

Over the three months to July, construction output edged up by just 0.6%, reflecting a slow pace of growth across the industry. New construction work grew by 1% during this period, while repair and maintenance activity was nearly flat, rising just 0.1%.
